Bada-bing, Bada-boom

Just like that!

This week has been full of crazy changes!  My head is spinning and I’ve barely had a chance to catch my breath.  I’m writing this in a spare five minutes before dashing out to help open the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, a great project that’s pretty exhausting, but pretty rewarding plus they pay me so it’s cool.

My biggest news makes me giggle, seize up a little and feel fairly disbelieving all at the same time: I got a job this week!  After a weeks-long process of talking to a FABULOUS company in Boulder, I finally got the official offer on Tuesday.  My 9-to-5’s will now be spent doing customer support at SurveyGizmo, a totally kickass (former) startup in Boulder full of awesome, fun, hardworking people.  I said at an earlier point in this process that I was fairly certain that after my awesome job at Wesleyan last year, my good job karma had probably come to an end, but luckily, that’s not the case.

It’s both a huge relief and kind of scary that I’m now officially tied to this crazy new place – in a different way than signing a lease.  I’m going to have a community now, which is awesome and wonderful, but also a big change!  Just another step in the crazy world of moving to Boulder.

And with that, I’m off.  The next few days will most likely be post-less because I’m working more than full-time on this opening through Sunday.  Thanks for all of your support these past few months – it’s been fun to have a place to share all of this!  (Not that I’m done.  No, not even a little bit.)  Here are a few pictures of Spain that I love for a bit of beauty in your day!
